2:30p – Kelli Richards/The All Access Group moderates a panel of industry pros about running your band like a branded business.
At a time when digital distribution is the tail that wags the dog, and
when big record labels have contracted, it's critical for artists and
bands to see themselves as a branded business. They must be more
responsible than ever to build a strong team around them, to embrace
working with consumer brands to increase their exposure and fund their
albums and tours, and to engage more actively in social media and other
direct-to-fan initiatives because the old way of doing things simply
no longer works. Come and hear from players in the ecosystem who
enable bands to thrive as the music industry reinvents itself.
Panelists:
- KamranV/POP-AUT
- Phil Sandhaus
- Jaunique Sealey
